Congressional Democrats, under the leadership of President Biden, have spent $3.8 TRILLION since Biden took the White House.
Those of us here at Blue to Red PAC had a tough time getting our heads wrapped around that number, so we decided to break out the ol’ TI-87 (a calculator with a VERY big screen for LOTS of numbers). What we uncovered is staggering:
- The NFL franchise in Denver (the Broncos) sold in 2022 for 4.65 billion. With $3.8 trillion you could buy the Broncos, and every other team in the league at the same valuation. In fact, you could buy every team in the league 25 times over!
- If you’re going to own the Broncos, you might as well live in a very nice house in Denver. The median home price is $700,000, but let’s splurge and buy one worth $1 million. At that price, you could afford to buy 3,800,000 of those homes and give 4 homes to every man, woman, and child who currently lives in the City of Denver.
- Before you spend that kind of cash, you might want to count it first. Give your self lots of time though – it will take about 119 thousand years to count each dollar.
- Once you have it all counted, you’ll need some trucks to move it … and they better be heavy duty because that kind of cash weighs about 8.3 billion pounds which equals the weight of 2.3 million mid-sized cars.
- Ahh, numbers like these make you yearn for the old days, right? Well if we could go back in time 3.8 trillion seconds we’d be living in the year 90,000 B.C. (I don’t think the Broncos were playing back then).
We’re poking fun at these numbers, but the Democrats spending addiction is no laughing matter. Please help the Blue to Red PAC restore fiscal responsibility in Washington!
