Every once in a while we are reminded just how ridiculous the radical, loony left really is.
On Christmas week MSNBC aired a piece by Hayes Brown that called for an end to the annual Santa tracker by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Really. We’re not making this stuff up.
You see, to Brown this tracker which delights millions of children around the world is a threat to his inane sense of moralism. “It’s about time that we decoupled St. Nick from the world’s most powerful military,” writes Brown, “American culture is saturated with a desire to associate the military with the saccharine. We get videos of soldiers returning home to their pets or children but never questions about why they were deployed for so long or what threat they were fighting.”
Wow – just wow! Tens of thousands of our soldiers risk life and limb every day to protect our nation from global threats but MSNBC doesn’t understand why or, honestly, care. What they care about is the ongoing assault on future generations, brainwashing them to believe the US military is something they have NEVER been. Their obsession and paranoia has now transcended into the fantasy world of St. Nick and his jolly elves. Bah Humbug!
