This time of the year you might see a neighborhood youth soccer team, or the local Boy Scout troop, respectfully combing your local cemetery to place wreaths on the graves of military personnel.
Well, a left-wing, anti-religious organization has a few choice words for those children: what they’re up to is “unconstitutional, an atrocity and a disgrace.”
You heard that right – a group of (crazy) lefties believes that wreaths are “circular and made of evergreen to symbolize everlasting life through Jesus Christ” … and that children who spend their day adorning grave sites with wreaths over the holidays are “an atrocity and a disgrace.”
This kind of thing is far worse than, for example, Starbucks not using the words “Merry Christmas” in their marketing materials because the wreath controversy sends dangerous and wrong signals to future generations about compassion, empathy, patriotism, and the holiday spirit of giving back.
