We’ve never been big fans of HBO comedian Bill Maher. But, like a broken clock, it will be right two times a day.
For example, Maher is right about the NFL’s decision to play the so-called “Black National Anthem” before today’s Super Bowl. Our nation does not have TWO national anthems – we are one nation under God. To suggest otherwise is to support segregation “under a different name.” The left is, said Maher, making children “hyperaware of race” and the result is division and inequity.
As a private enterprise, the NFL can play whatever song it chooses, but it’s disappointing to us that they’re turning a blind eye to national unity in order to curry political favor with the extreme left.
