There’s SO MUCH to be written about last night’s State of the Union Speech. It was, literally, a comprehensive checklist of support for the failed liberal spending programs of the 1960s and 1970s.
BUT, I must admit, I did laugh at one point. Remember with President Biden suggested that his Administration was putting an end to noncompete agreements that keep cashiers at one burger place from crossing the street to make a few dollars more at another burger place. In what universe is that happening??? Whatever White House speechwriter inserted that gem into the SOTU should move to Hollywood and start writing for Kevin Hart or Jim Carrey.
With the election less than 2 years away, maybe it’s time for Biden himself to hire counsel to review the McDonald’s NDA – he will need to sign it in early 2025.
