Gavin Newsom, the far-left Democratic Governor of California, must think his constituents are clueless.
Despite MONTHS AND MONTHS of his condescending lectures, warnings, and threats (based largely on politics, and little on science) regarding face mask mandates, the Governor continues to live his best life – WITHOUT WEARING A MASK.
Just yesterday, at the NFC Championship football game in Los Angeles, Newsom was spotted “drinking beers with the fellas” inside a private luxury suite inside SoFi Stadium. Note that Governor Newsom himself imposed a universal mask mandate that runs through February 15th and his actions at the game were in direct violation of that mandate.
Readers of this page will recall that this is not the first time Newsom thumbed his nose (I couldn’t think of a family friendly way to say this better) at his constituents. Back in 2020, during the height of COVID-19 deaths, Newsom saw fit to attend a party at an outrageously expensive California restaurant known as French Laundry. Nobody at the party was wearing masks.
I’m sure the Governor is already calling on his rich friends and donors getting himself Super Bowl seats on the 50-yard line. Will he be wearing one of the KN95 masks that SoFi Stadium will require fans to wear during the game. Probably not. And, in his mind, why should he? Those rules are for the rest of us – not him.
