In October 2021 New York’s disgraced former Governor, Andrew Cuomo, received his first monthly pension payment of $4,219.11.
You read that right! Just to put into context, consider this: as the New York State per capita income hovers at roughly $39,300, Andrew Cuomo will collect $50,600 annually from a taxpayer funded pension.
Cuomo, who resigned earlier in 2021, faces sex crime charges in Albany as well as charges that he used government employees to help him write his book regarding the COVID pandemic.
The New York Comptroller said that Cuomo could lose his pension, but only if he is convicted of a felony crime. Taxpayers throughout the Empire State should be outraged at this misuse of funds.
