Katie Couric: You Can’t Handle the Truth

October 18, 2021

In the late 1980s and early 1990s it was hard not to like, and maybe even admire, Katie Couric. She was the bubbly, affable co-host of the Today Show whose broad, cheeky smile overwhelmed your 19′ living room Sony.

Boy, have times have changed.

Couric, like the rest of us, has aged – but her greying hair has coincided with a complete disregard for journalistic integrity, unmasking her complete allegiance to extreme leftist socialism.

Earlier this month excerpts of her new book were released in which she proudly admits to “protecting Americans” from learning that former Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg disapproved of the burgeoning NFL player protests during the National Anthem. Justice Ginsburg had the nerve to tell Couric that Kaepernick and his allies were showing “contempt for a government that has made it possible for their parents and grandparents to live a decent life … which they probably could not have lived in the places they came from.”

Ginsburg was 100% right. Nearly every America understands that. But that was news “not fit to print” in Katie Couric’s liberal world. It didn’t fit her narrative. What a fraud!

This is the same “journalist” who, during the Obama/McCain presidential campaign, proudly “exposed” Sarah Palin as a Mom, Wife, Grandmother (oh, and Governor) who was too busy to read Newsweek – a now defunct magazine.

The main stream media are not journalists – they are political hacks who are doing the bidding for the extreme left. It’s sad how far they’ve gone to lie and deceive the American people.
