North Carolina Judge: Convicted Felons Deserve a Say on Your Taxes, Your Child’s School Curriculum, and Your Local Criminal Ordinances

August 25, 2021

Huh?

In what’s been described as the largest single expansion of North Carolina voters in 60 years, a Judge in the state ruled that some 56,000 convicted felons are now eligible to vote in the upcoming statewide elections.  Read about it here.

The judge’s decision is truly absurd.  State and local legislatures have authority over criminal, transportation, and education policies and regulations.  Now, thanks to this judge’s decision, criminals convicted of armed robbery, hit-and-run, and child abuse will be voting side-by-side with other hardworking, honest, and taxpaying North Carolinians to elect the candidates who will make those very important decisions.

You’ve heard of cancel culture?  This is similar except this time one Judge in North Carolina is canceling the impact of conservative, law-abiding voters.

The Blue to Red PAC will fight in North Carolina and other states that are considering allowing felons the vote. We will expose judges and politicians who are “finding” new votes by authorizing criminals access to the ballot box. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.
